Rauhanpuolustajat on mukana the Feminist Transnational Caravan – hankkeessa, jossa työskennellään feminististen teemojen ympärillä maaliskuusta 2026 vuoden loppuun. Hanke koostuu Suomessa ja Serbiassa järjestettävistä koulutuksista sekä valmistavista tapaamisista, huipentuen elo-syyskuussa järjestettävään 3 viikon pituiseen Karavaaniin, jossa matkustamme maata pitkin Belgiasta Romaniaan katukampanjoiden yhdessä muiden kumppanimaiden osallistujien kanssa.
Vaihtoehtoisesti voit osallistua projektiin pelkästään paikallistasolla, jolloin otat osaa vain Suomessa tai virtuaalisesti järjestettyihin tapahtumiin. Tämä on erinomainen vaihtoehto heille, jotka eivät pysty sitoutumaan projektin ulkomailla toteutettuihin ajanjaksoihin.
Etsimme mukaan nuoria (18-35v), sujuvasti Englantia puhuvia osallistujia. Muut hakukriteerit ovat kyky sitoutua hankkeeseen sen keston ajaksi sekä aito kiinnostus hankkeen teemoja kohtaan. Osallistujille korvataan osallistumisesta aiheutuvat matkustus, ruoka- ja majoituskulut. Lukuunottamatta koulutuksia ja itse Karavaania, ei hanke edellytä täysipäiväistä osallistumista.

📣 Call for Participants: Join the Feminist Transnational Caravan!
Are you a passionate advocate for intersectional feminism? Are you interested in activism, solidarity and grassroots organizing? Do you want to be part of a dynamic, European movement that drives change through travelling across Europe, art and street campaigning?
The Feminist Transnational Caravan project is looking for young feminists to join our mission to empower communities and raise awareness across Europe! In total of five youth organizations from Finland, Germany, Belgium, Serbia and Romania are collaborating in this Erasmus+ project starting in March 2026!
Your Role
We are inviting you to apply to become a participant in this exciting project. There are two ways you can get involved:
1. 🌍 Local Activist Track (National Focus)
Participate in the project activities happening in Finland, tailored to your local context.
Activities Include: A 4-day national training, participation in the development of an online campaign and local events.
2. 🚆 Caravan Track (Full Project Commitment)
Take on a deeper role by joining the full Transnational Caravan. This requires travelling with the group to all specified dates and locations across the partner countries.
Activities Include: All national activities PLUS participating in a 5-day international training in Serbia, preparation meetings, the full travelling Caravan (23 days), and at least one local dissemination event.
📝 Who We Are Looking For
To ensure a strong and committed team, all applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Age: Be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Language: Be fluent in English (working language of the project).
- Commitment: Be ready to sign a Volunteering Contract which includes:
- Commitment to all scheduled project dates (including the final dissemination activity).
- Adherence to the project’s Code of Conduct.
- Consent to appear in photos and videos produced for awareness-raising and project documentation.
We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive group, paying close attention to diversity in its broader sense in the selection process.
📅 Project Commitment and Dates
Your full participation and commitment are essential for the success of this project. Therefore, we expect you to commit to the following international and local dates. Please have in mind that this is a project, not a vacation. Selected participants will need to sign a volunteer contract committing to: all the following dates (for the Full project commitment); the local dates (for the National Focus program) the following international dates (for the Caravan Track) and local dates (to be specified by your national coordinator):
- National Training: 26 – 29.3, Helsinki
- International Training: 27.6 – 3.7 2026, Serbia
- Preparation Meetings: July – August 2026, Online
- Transnational Caravan: 29.8 – 20.9 2026 in Belgium, Germany, Poland, Hungary & Romania
- Final Dissemination Event(s): End of 2026, Helsinki
🗣️ Good to know & how to apply
We will cover all the expenses (traveling, accommodation, food). Besides for the dates above, participating in this project does not require full-time attendance.
